Acts like it is loading normally but finishes with a blank screen. Won't respond to Ctrl/Alt/Delete. Has to be shut down manually. Can be brought to the desktop by hitting F8 and last known good, but will have the same problem next time it reboots normally. Since this started after connecting the Canon printer, I'm wondering if this is the cause? It has also started having problems connecting online. Will connect the first time. but if I disconnect and try to reconnect later I get a window that says the system doesn't recognize me.
I am using Mozilla Foxfire which did an update recently. Don't know if this is connected.
Please help.

what Service Pack are u rinning on?
start in safe mode disable any startup item in msconfig that has to do with the printer. if you are not running the latest SP get it NOW. then reinstall the drivers for the printer. PS try using the driver from the cannon web site
