this is my first post on these forums, so appologies if I do not supply all the information about the problem in hand. Basically I've had my Dell Inspiron 9400 for a couple of months now, and have had this reoccuring problem where only when viewing certain web pages or playing any game, i get really weire pink & green screen flickers. It seems to be getting worse. i heard somewhere that you should play around with the graphics card settings (its equipped with a Geforce Go 7900GS) until you get the optimum settings, but nothing there seems to have worked after about a weeks worth of playing with it. Even turning Anti-Aliasing off hasn't helped.
I have also tried reinstalling the drivers for the graphics card, rolling them back to previous versions, and even flashing the Bios to the latest version available.
To be honest with you i'm at a complete loss as to what to do next. I am able to watch DVD's for instance without so much as a problem with the laptop's screen, however only now again when viewing images, and whenever playing any game the green & pink screen glitches show up (in random and different places every time might I add). It also happens to get worse when I use the right mouse button to open up any sort of menu or if i use any sort of drop down list in programs.
