Ok i had a thread with power supply maybe. I unhooked everything and it still would stay on for 5 second then turn back off. If i can the memory stick out and turn it on it will stay on but beep i know the beep means that there is no memory. But why would it stay on with no memory but turn right of if it has something connected to it. I also tryed each device and try to run with it. With just the cd drive it turns off, with the harddrive same thing.

do you have one or two stick of ram ,if 2 try leaving one in .
if just one stick of ram ,could be that the stick of ram is bad ,you will need to get another stick to troubleshoot this problem

I found out that the motherboard or the CPU is shot so thanks for the help
