Hi, Just put an amd 3000 754 pin newcastle into an asrock board.
set ram to 400 mhz, cpu frequency auto set at 200 mhz.
I think it should be set at 400, which I can manually do. I can set it anywhere from 200 to 400 mhz. I would like some advice before I do this.I would like proper settings without overclocking. Possibly the bios is set to low automaticly. Can't find the answer at amd website.

your cpu doesn't care how quickly the information gets to it, you need to check your ram and mobo specs to deturmine what the proper ram frequency should be.
