I have an HP notebook that I believe is busy eating the hard drive or the processor. I would assume that the noise the computer makes when you start is the hard drive? My laptop froze up and is now making clinking and clanking sounds while it is running. I restarted the computer and it displays a disk error. Is this my hard drive eating itself? If so will I be able to save any of the files I have on it.
