hey new to this fourm and i need some help,

a little while back i was looking for some downloads for my psp and i downloaded a virus, a trojan to be exact i have avg 7.5 anti virus and spyware thingy but they are still popping up. as well as a system alert saying that i have a trojan and is telling my to download something to fix it. that is not what it does i believe.

im useing a dell laptop with windows XP and firefox browser can someone please help me i want to get rid of my problem.
