Well, I had a problem where my background had changed to a blank screen. I couldn't scroll down on the list of backgrounds in the Display tab, and I couldn't do anything except change the color. I was browsing this forum and found someone giving advice to another person with the same problem, and I downloaded Smitfraud.reg and merged it with the registry as prompted. This restored my control over the desktop, but as soon as I changed it to something else, I realized that all of my icons are surrounded by patches of the blank blue screen. I also discovered that changing the color option (even though I no longer have the blank desktop) that the color surrounding the icons changes accordingly.

So to sum it all up, umm, please help?
