More and more, I am believing that Mozilla's FireFox and ThunderBird and more reliable rather than IE and Outlook. But my question still remainds; can you sync your address book and email to a PDA, even on a PDA with mobile Windows???

Yes, you can. There are projects that support both. I've only made them work with Evolution, though. And, I'm running a Dell Axim X30 with Windows Mobile on it.
