I was wondering if anyone had encountered this or knew what the problem was. A few days ago I installed Audacity on Ubuntu Linux. I didn't notice an problems at first, that is until I tried to record a second track. On recording all the tracks after the first track it slows down the audio and makes the sound crack. It isn't a problem with memory, etc. Actually I don't know what it is a problem with. There must be some sort of conflict in my system. Has anyone successfully had Audacity work on Ubuntu?
