How do I charge my battery? You are probaly thinking Duh! You plug it in but mine doesn't work I've tried everything that's why I am on my windows now Please Help

Agree.
Need to know the model number. Some of the powerbooks had a chip on the battery (they were called intelligent batteries), and you had to run a reconditioner program here and there. My Powerbook G3 battery gets a little funny under OS X, and in order to do maintenance with them, I need to boot into OS 9.
Make, and OS are important.
