for soem reason my excel is hanging as soon as i click the tab to change its name. !! the rainbow disk starts rolling for ever and i then have to force quit

help please

Hello,

It is possible that your Microsoft Office is corrupted. I would re-install it. If memory serves, Office is a drag-and-drop application, that sets up everything on it's own when you run it for the first time.

First, you might want to try and move the .plist to your Desktop and then run Excel. If it works, then the preferences were corrupt. If not, onto plan B. You can find it at:

~/Library/Preferences/com.microsoft.Excel.plist
