All,

A friend of mine gave me a G4 (sawtooth) with 0S 9 on it. I got a copy of OS 10.3 and I am having problems with the install. If I boot into 9, and load the CD, the computer tells me it will restart into the OSX install. After the system reboots, all I get is a grey screen, a grey apple and the little cirlce with the arrow. I can leave it run for hours and nothing happens. :evil:

If I boot whe system with the Disk 1 in the DVD Rom I get the grey screen again.

I havent used Macs since system 7.5 so I am kind of stuck. I tried reseting the PRAM, and that didnt help.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
