I have an HP ze2000 and I need to flash the BIOS because I bought an Atheros Card and in order to be supported I needed to edit the BIOS so it can be accepted by HP because they have their BIOS locked.
I created the BIOS.WPH file that later I will use to flash the BIOS but when I use the WinPhlash program provided by HP to flash the BIOS it stops in a step preventing me from flashing. I know it is not safe to flash BIOS from Windows but I also created a Bootable USB flash drive and I used PHLASH and PHLASH16 but everything goes fine loading the BIOS.WPH and when it is Initializing Platform it stays there forever and I don't think it will load...
Note that I'm talking about a BIOS.WPH not .BIN or .ROM
What program is recommended to flash the BIOS or how to flash it???... I tried WinPhlash, PHLASH, PHLASH16, Uniflash...
