Hey all
I recently noticed that when I right click and go to New> there are all the options such as new publisher document, word doc, rar archive etc but new text file is missing. Also along the same lines if I create a new text file with notepad instead of the file logo being like a white 'pad' it’s a white square with the blue notepad symbol in it.
The icon isn’t that important but being able to right click>new text file is handy for me and not having that option is kind of annoying. Does anyone know what’s wrong here?
I googled it but the closest looking result told me to edit my registry and i'm not confident doing that so I hope fully want to fix the problem without editing my reg.
