i have windows 2000 with a adsl modem as the main pc which gives internet to all of the 15-20 other PCs. the problem is that a few of them download a lot of stuff with p2p, so the internet is way too slow to use for the rest.
as an example, (the max bandwidth is 70kb/s), if the first person starts a download, he gets 69kb/s, and at the same time if someone else tries, he gets 4kb/s (the 1st reduced to 65), and the third gets 1kb/s.
this is unacceptable. any ideas of dynamically allocating the bandwidth depending on how many are online?
