I have wasted two days on a problem and none of the call-in technical support lines seems to be able to help me.

I have a SONY VAIO laptop computer loaded with Vista. A couple of days ago, after doing some disk and desktop cleanup tasks, my cursor stopped working on the bottom half of the screen when I use the AOL browser or Internet Explorer. I can use it on the upper half of the screen, but once I drop down below the top inch or so - it won't show up and I can't type. So, I can't answer any of my AOL emails when I access them through the AOL browser.

I switched to firefox, which I am using now to be able to get mail out, but there are many limitations in accessing AOL through another browser.

AOL can't figure out what happened, and neither can Sony. My son is bit of a technie, and he did reset Internet Explorer, but he said that I probably need to reinstall it, and that isn't easy with Vista.

Can anyone out there HELP me? I need my regular AOL functions back.

THANKS.
