This happens simply by opening Word and then closing word, without opening a document. The exact error message I get is "Microsoft Office Word has stopped working" " A problem caused the program to stop working correctly Windows will close the program and notify you if a solution is available." I am running Vista Home Premium with Office 2007. I have renamed the Normal template but that had no impact. I also ran Office Diagnostics and found no problems. I uninstalled Word, restarted the computer and reinstalled Word. I still have the problem.
What else should I try?
