My first time here so please be patient. Athlon1800+. 512Meg Ram. WinXP. This problem has just surfaced, tho it is a while since I previously used 'SEARCH'. AVG says all is clean. Also ADAWARE ditto. Did a System Restore (just 2days backwards) but no change. Any suggestions?

Have you tried deleting your temporary internet files and cookies and to set the settings to about 25% of your hard drive space? It is located in your explorere browser under tools/internet options/general tab.
