Help - Being directed to wrong page after I click on a search result

I am being directed to the wrong page when I click on a result that is shown from a search. I'm using Internet Explorer. I did run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware (with the latest update) before coming here. Below you'll find my HijackThis log. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Try start>accessories>system tools>system restore and select a date when you didn't have a problem. If that doesn't work post bak on the result/error

Okay, issue resolved, I think. First though, I couldn't use the System Restore since I didn't have an available restore point due to the fact that it was turned off just a few days ago. I don't want to get into why I did such a foolish thing. But anyway, I decided to download Spyware Doctor, S&D, and AVG to see if one of the three could detect what McAfee and Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware couldn't detect. Unfortunately, none of these downloads could find the problem. So then I decided to download the new version of Internet Explorer (version 8.0). Now for the funny part. I didn't care for the 8.0 version, so I removed it, but then I noticed that the problem was gone. I suspect that the problem was detected by Microsoft during the 8.0 installation, and thus, permanently removed. I'm going to mark this thread as solved, but if anyone has a question or comment, then please feel free to send me a message. Thanks.

You should also update XP to SP3 as that can help to stop this problem from happening again in the future.
