my pc xp, keeps rebooting i've tried from the last good config,safe,mode etc all to no avail. Am guessing the power outage caused it. Solution please!!! Am not a guru am aspiring to be.

Try using your Xp Disc and do a "Repair Install" this will keep your files intact.
