I am currently trying to help a friend fix her PC (MS Win XP).
Every time she closes her Internet explorer an error report comes onto the screen stating that there is a problem with iexplore.exe.
I have tried updating to explorer version 8.0 but the problem persists. Does anyone know how to fix this? Or even what's causing it?
Please bear in mind that I'm well meaning but, not exactly well clued when it comes to Microsofts various errors and repairs. I would really appreciate any help.

The easy fix....use Firefox, Opera or Chrome.....not IE.......
If you want IE try doing a SFC.
