i have the exact same problem with my computer after going into msconfig in the boot.ini tab and selecting safeboot, then restarting computer. i have the windows xp proffesional disk, but when i put it in the computer the disk doesnt show up and nothing changes, i dont know how to fix this.
any help would be greatly appreciated
