After I logon in windows 2000 Professional, desktop don't come up. I'm able to open Task manager and run c:\winnt\explorer.exe and then desktop shows. Anyway I want to solve the problem. Please help!!! :)

Does it show your background, ie your icons are missing, Try right click desktop, arrange icons by, show desktop. (may not work on w2k)

Yes it does. It shows the background, but does not show icons and Start menu.
So, I open the Task manager and execute explorer.exe, then the icons and the start menu show up. Do you have any idea how to fix it? Thanks for your help!
