Hi All,
I am attempting to complete are recovery of my Sony VAIO laptop. I first attempted the C drive restore, but the recovery tool did not continue upon restart of the computer. I have recovery disks, and I attempted to use those. It seems to work, then stops and says recovery was cancelled and was not completed.
Any ideas what it could be?

Hi and welcome to Daniweb,
I would suggest that you try again to to the recovery. If it fails again, you might try just reinstalling Windows without a full recovery, if that works, then try a recovery again. If you still have no joy, download and run the program UBCD (see my signature) and boot your machine from that and then check the disk.
