I'm a little in over my head so bare with me... I have a 3 PC home network. I have a Westell 2200 DSL modem/router and a Linksys 4 port Wireless Access Point. Now, I want to connect via Remote Dsktp from work to my PC here at home. What exactly do I need to do?? I'm hearing the term "Forwarding."
When I access my Linksys page (192.168.1.1) I am going to Advanced/Forwarding and I see in the Customized Applications column "rdtop" and the Ext Ports are 3389 to 3389. What next? I think I'm actually hitting the DSL modem first before the Linksys and that's what I'm bouncing off of. Verizon has me set up to "bridge" to the network???? HELP ME!

can you think of using a simple Remote access solutions. Try out RemotePC http://www.remotepc.com
