The system restore tab is missing under Accessories and System Properties on my computer. My OS is Win XP Pro SP3.
Any ideas please?

Try to restore it from systems tools. I hope this problem solved.

Boot into Safe Mode with Command Prompt, type C:\windows\system32\restore\rstrui.exe and press Enter. Follow the instructions given.
