Weird!
Yesterday, my computer crashed, showing a blue screen with some techinal jargon, saying something about an NTFS.sys file.

Now every time I turn it on I am presented with the screen which asks me to choose from the following options if I want to load windows:

safe mode
safe mode with networking
safe mode command prompt
last known good configuration.
start windows normally.

No matter which option i choose the computer resets,

ive tried to format the hard drive by booting off the XP cd, but when i choose to format the c once the menu boots up. It resets again. So im trapped

Very frustrating as its a vicious cycle. :mad:

Try do this

download this file (ntfs.sys) from here
after that load you pc with dos floppy disk, and copy the file in to the
following directories :

c:\windows\servicepackfiles\i386
c:\windows\system32\drivers
