I got nailed by a trojan bug and Macafee could not delete it or quarintine it. I ran virus scan and could no longer find it. I then noticed that my desktop was replaced by spyware ads and the displays menu in the control panel was missing everything but screensaver and settings. I also now have the about:blank for a home page. I ran a nondestructive system restore and have my displays menu back and the about:blank page is gone. I am missing my active desktop, the ability to copy data to a cd and many progams that are still on the hd act like they are not there. Do I need to reload every program and the active desktop? What do I need to do and how do I do it? I wish I had found this site before doing the restore. Help please! 0310
