I've been having a problem with the icons in msn messenger. The icons show that everyone in my buddy list is logged on, but they aren't. Also, there is some black shading behind some of the icons. This began happening after I reformated my computer and installed a fresh version of windows. I have the same problem with kazaa lite as well.

Running Win XP home edition and msn messenger v6.1

Any suggestions?
