You need to download the latest version of Adobe flash player as it is an overcome for the previous.

While an old version shouldn't cause a crash, you haven't provided enough detail to determine the cause of the failure.

Try an uninstall and install the latest version. While you are at it, scan your computer for malware.

Nowadays there exists a problem of adobe player crashing due to the fact taht the new versio nahs come and we are using the old version.
