I just did the latest updates to Microsoft Office 2016. But after updates I cannot open one very important .RTF document. I click the file to open, the following message came: 'Check the file permissions for the document or drive.'
So i uninstalled it and reinstalled Office and same thing. What's wrong?

Any solution for this issue?

So what happens when... You put that file on some FAT32 formatted memory stick. There are no permissions in that file system.

Sorry if I don't get into file permissions here. Sort of a well done topic so let's find a quick fix.

You also might try the takeown command. Type

takeown /?

for instructions.
