Hello everyone,

Help needed!
I have one user in the company having this networking issue.
----
It's a WinXP laptop, some files and folders on its mapped network drive are just disappeared since the user carried the laptop back from Europe.
For example, other workstatin in the domain can see 10 files and 10 folders and this laptop could only see half of them...I disconnected this network drive and re-mapped it but same thing still.
I type in the network path and it finds the shared network drive but in the network drive I just can't see other half of files and folders like I do on everyone else's workstation.
Another thing is, sometimes when the files cannot get sycronized with an error message says the domain or the path is not accessible or something.

Anybody has an idea?

Do you have DNS running properly? Maybe check the settings of that....

Also try using the path instead of going through network palces and see if that connects (i.e., \\SERVER4\e\folder)
