Have the same problem as jheft April 2003

i tried all the registry commands and they all went successfully except
regsvr32 Shell32.dll

when i entered this command i got the message:

shell32.dll was loaded, but the dllRegisterServer entry point was not found.
dllRegisterServer may not be exported, or a corrupt version of Shell32.dll may be in memory. Consider using PView to detect and remove it.

What does that all mean and what can I do about it?

Me toooooooo
I couldnt find if an answer had been posted
Such a relief to find others suffering from the exact same problem

Cant find where to edit my post, so will just add a thread
Problem solved, if anyone else needs the same fix follow Thread 697 of jjthompson. important bit being.......... regsvr32 Shell32.dll (only applicable to Windows ME, Windows 2000 and XP - if using an earlier operating system, run regsvr32 shdoc401.dll) ......... as I have Windows 98 SE
