I have just spend the last 3 hours trying to find a solution in forums accross the net and have found nothing that might work.
I was on my computer tonight, Windows XP Pentium 4 HT, 250gb hard drive, 1gb RAM and well frankly it should be working fine. all new parts and i have had a few problems in the past but ive fixed them all. I also have all updates available to my knowledge
Talking on Msn messenger and out of NOWHERE i get the BSOD telling me windows needs to restart dumping pysical memory etc... Once restarted it loads the windows logo and then straight to
c0000135 error, cannot load winsrv, try re-installing program etc..
i have tried re-installing and reparing XP from cd but when i go to reinstall it wont copy files from the CD. these files are - oletk32.dll, unicode.nls, cga80woa.fon, cga40woa.fon, ctype.nls, kbdus.dll So once i skip these files it trys to load and restarts to blue screen saying - Setup is restarting............... then to the c0000135 error again.
i am willing to try anything again but i wanted to get this info out there to see what ppl have to offer. I need all the info on my HD so re-formatting just isnt feasible right now.
i can access the recovery console and my bios settings just fine.
i cant get into windows and i need HELP!!! someone please please please help me!!!
this shouldnt have anything to do with installing SP2 because i installed that however many years ago. The last thing that was in use before this happened was winrar and i was on MSN messenger. I did not download anything. nobody sent me anything and i use bitdefender internet security.
I just want to get up and running again. PLEASE HELP ME !!!!
