hi, i bought a second hard drive to day that is 250 gb it is blank. and i have tried in stalling it, ihave the jumpers rite and it is hooke up rite but my computer still only recongizes my primary hardrive. what do i do?

first you need to check and make sure that it is being rcognized by your bios if your bios doesnt see it then it will never work. If the bios doesnt see it check your ide or sata cables and power cables. Last make sure that your setting are correct in your bios in some older bios there are size limits on the hard drives that it will support.
