I have an xp sp2 system running paymate acclaim v5.3 on a notebook , was fine one day (is nothing more than a dbf) database, the nest day you execute from the desktop and it opens up to everything grayed out, user is administrator, have checked all other shortcuts on desktop,. I can log into safe mode and it opens fine, have turned off simple security and can see not security settings that would cause this, have reinstalled program, same thing, starts, then flashes to grayed out and you can not click anything, including file/exii or close?? Any ideas, the only thing i can think of is the backups were created on a 2000 server , but they have been copied from that system as it was retired and are now on a sing unit.
