Hello.
I've purchased an upgrade to a graphics prog.(Xara3D). On my Xara account site is a link to download the file. I've tried the link with 3 different systems. First system is running Windows 98SE, IE 6 and Opera 9. Second system is WindowsXP Home Premium with IE 6. I've tried to download the file(xara3d.exe) from both machines and browsers, with and without firewall/antivirus, security and privacy set to minimum, and with every setting for cookies and popups(no proxy is involved). My ISP is a local provider(Southnet.net). Everytime I try the download, I get the infamous 'Cannot find server' & 'This page cannot be displayed'. I don't have any problem downloading anything else. The third system is Windows XP Home with IE 6 which belongs to my brother. His ISP is Bellsouth.net. From his machine, the file was available and downloadable. We then came back to my machines(both) and he logged into his Bellsouth account and tried the download on both my systems. Both worked fine. The file was able to be downloaded as normal. I called my ISP to see if he could explain the situation but couldn't. He said there weren't any restrictions on my account so he didn't think the problem was Southnet(my ISP). Hope someone can offer a bit of advice. TIA, RAS
