Our Landlords are getting a new copier/scanner/fax/ printer machine. Its a Ricoh MP4001. They hook to the old one (HP 4250) through a network cable from a router and we hook to it through a USB. Is it possible to do that with the new Ricoh? There has been some discussion that it might not be. I find that a little strange for a $5,000 dollar brand new machine not to be able to.

Let me get this correct. You want to use a cable to connect the router to the new printer ( Ricoh MP4001 ). Then with a USB cable connect to a computer and start printing stuffs. Right?
