My computer's monitor is showing no signal and cpu's red light blinks a few seconds after me switching on cpu.i had used it a day before with no problem.os is windows 8.1.

Is this a desktop? What brand? I’m not sure what red light you’re referring to. Is that power? The hard drive? The CPU?
You need to get your computer to POST. (When it spits out on the screen what’s going on during the boot up process.) Typically there is an F-key (eg F4, F12, ESC., etc.) that you press when you first turn it on to get this to show up or enter the BIOS, where you can run some diagnostics.
It’s hard for us to make any suggestions without knowing the specific make and model of your computer.
