I been using Eero+ but recently switched to NextDNS. I selected several blocklists. Which is better to use, Eero+ or NextDNS? I know there’s a price difference. I don’t need parental controls.

The same supposed police department has contacted previously. I attached the recent emails.

I have blocked the email on my Gmail account, any new emails get sent to spam. I received one Friday afternoon. I know I can just delete my spam emails but would like to have it deleted. Would I need to unblock the email address and set a rule that emails from that address get deleted and not sent to spam or can I leave it blocked and do a rule so that these emails get deleted from spam so I don’t see that they sent new replies? This is regarding gmail, and the email I’m receiving is from a gmail email address.

I have been receiving emails from a gmail email address, I tried doing reverse searches on it but not coming up anything. I have a feeling it may be the scammers posing as a police department. Is there anyway I can determine the owner of the email address or its validity?

Whether you use Teams or not, you can now disable the startup program easily—without actually signing into a Team. Locate the purple Microsoft Teams icon in your notification area or system tray. Right-click it and select Settings > Do Not Auto-Start Teams. You can then right-click the icon again and select “Quit.” You shouldn’t see Teams again until you choose to launch it yourself.

If you don’t see the icon, you may need to click the up arrow to the left of the icons on your taskbar to view additional icons. The icon will appear here as long as Microsoft Teams is running.

On Windows 10, you can also head to Settings > Apps > Startup. To quickly find this screen, open your Start menu, type “Startup” into its search box, and click the “Startup Apps” shortcut that appears.

Locate “Microsoft Teams” in the list of apps on the Startup pane. Click the switch to the right of it to turn it “Off.”

Windows also has startup program options in its Task Manager. It works the same way, and you can use either. Launch the Task Manager, click the “Startup” tab, locate “Microsoft Teams” in the list, and click “Disable.”

To open the Task Manager, right-click the Windows taskbar and select “Task Manager.” You can also press Ctrl+Shift+Esc.

Microphone no longer works in apps after June Samsung update has been installed to the Samsung Tab A tablet. Tried changing mic permissions but same result. Is there a setting or something I can do so the microphone will work in Google Meet after the latest Samsung update has been applied to the tablet?

I have been able to do this for Zoom

1. Open Zoom

2. Settings -> Meeting

3. Scroll down to "Use Original Audio" and make sure it is Toggled On

4. While in the meeting select the three dots on the far right and click "Enable Original Audio."

A Chromebook, even though connected to home Wi-Fi, says Network not found. Tried a Chrome Reset on it, and after trying to sign in, the same error Network not found happens.

Have you tried connecting the computer direct to the router using an ethernet cable to see if the issue still persists?

I have a Samsung SCX-3405FW that when trying to print while the printer has gone to power save, it says offline. I checked the settings on the web interface but it still seems to do it. If I power off then back on the printer, I can print. I looked online about it and someone mentioned that Samsung told them to disable the bi-directional, after trying that, the same issue happens. The printer is on DHCP but I did a static in the router so it has the same IP. I installed the SyncThru Web Admin Service, I can communicate with the printer that way.
