AdSense is the most consistent and profitable PPC publishing platform. I have used them all and the others have not been as consistent. Yahoo's YPN pays a higher click rate but gets fewer clicks. Bidvertiser has a steady lower rate - but does not get the occasional really high clicks …

Snap.com is another that is cool.... Yahoo Publishing Ntework is open now as are others. They are using contextual advertising methods.... I would recommend a mixture of PPC and banners to optimize your income... the banners do not breach the terms and conditions of the PPC ads

I had heard there was one coming in february - pr update... but only rumor at this stage but link count will impact numbers in some cases.... the geometric nature of pr makes numbers high to see change

Good blog posts can be submitted to digg and the other social media and get you traffic that way... as well as links etc.

So does TribalFusion but remmanent banners bring about $2-4 CPMs. Also try thenewsroom.com they give a news feed with a rev share
