i work on a wireless network with 3 other computers on the network. Can the administrator either have access to my computer (kinda like a logmein) or have the ability to get files to see where i go on the web all day & what files i access on my computer? Kind of like going into history on internet explorer? if so, how can i find out if it is being done? how can i stop it or send bogus reports?
You won't be able to truly stop invasion of privacy, so your next step is damage control.
A. Set up a workgroup within the network and secure it. Doing this will not stop invasion, but will let the intruder know that you are aware of the intrusions and are on the defense. B. Work from within this network and password protect all of your files. C. Clean your tracks after each session.
This is not the "solution" but it’s a start, who knows you may even gain a little respect :)
Most operating systems come with a system "reload" option. This is often your last resort due to the fact that you will do a complete wipe of your c:\ and any partitioned drives that you may have. All data WILL be lost (including malicious code). Be aware that if you are going to back up data, you might always mistakenly back up the malicious file. Good luck.

I game and work from both computers and have not had any performance problems. My laptop is a p4 duo core with dina and other technology. My desktop is a p3 with hyperthreading tech. Both to this date have done the job.
The advances in computer technology are definitely broadening the curricula at our colleges and universities. The need for computer technology will continue to grow which is something the grand old education system was able to recognize and incorporated this technology into the teachings. Up until that point it was your technical vocational schools (primarily) that offered these high in demand courses. Now the Computer Tech Firm employer has many options as to which candidate to hire, a Harvard grad or ITT grad. Tangent: if you ask me I would rather hire the grad who is most qualified and knows what the heck they are doing versus where they went to school.

Would a hacker (red/black/white/cracker/etc) announce his/her skills openly in a public/virtual forum and if so would this person be considered a fake because hackers aren't supposed to reveal their identity and in an effort of claiming hacker status would another hacker query the hacker posing to be a hacker questions to prove his/her hacking abilities and if this person does has the question would this person be revealing their own hacker identity?
well, i guess as humans whenever we feel extremely bad about sth no matter how complicated or silly it is we call that day the worst day ever, as for me, i can't recall when i last said this is my worst day because i haven't been so happy at work for the last few months, so for me everyday at work is considered a bad day, however, since i work in a radio station when i make a mistake on air that i know thousands of people heard including my employers, that day would be a really bad day for me.
Ya, I went through the same thing and in my case, after 7 years now I can say that it was one of my best days.

His influence over his tenure has gained much strength and those close to him will rely on it for direction and not out of fear but loyalty. I won't say that 100% of those close to him will rely on Bill Gates but I am willing to bet the the percentage will be high.
Bill Gates will always have a say so in what MS does or doesn't do. Even if it was said that he will retire and move to BFE I believe he will alway "run" things.
