Try to use ADO for the purpose.
Then use inbuilt methods of the objects.

In VB to Access, Use a DE..

DataEnvironment1.Connection1.Execute ("Insert INTO <tablename>(Field1,Field2...) VALUES (<Value1>,<value2>....)
