You need to design the report in crystal report and call that from VB.
You can pass the query to filter records at runtime.

that's a very big issue. try searching for some crystal report tutorials in google.

now if you got some problems when you design the report or firing it up from vb6 , then post it right here. someone should obviously reply you.

try using a query analyzer. then use a .ttx builder and call it from vb using active data sources. It better though if you indicated what type or kind of database you are using..
