Am trying out the eric ide for python
Am not sure how to enable the "." function in the editor
i.e when i do
>>> import os
>>> os.
It must list me the contents that can be used against the os module
I tried the autocomplete calluptips nothing worked for me
can someone tell me what option must be enabled to set it

Go Settings/Preferences/Calltips and mark enable.
It works, but is rather poorly implemented.

Ya I tried that but it never worked for me am using eric version 4.1.1 where i am not getting these
