I want to make a chat program where people enter a room and chat together :D like IRC

i intend to use C# ....but i need to use free server [not ASP server :D]

soo how can i do that :D ??

what is your server environment? as far as i know you can not run a c# server application on a server other than IIS which runs on windows server. your question seems impossible to me.

Which kind of application - web or windows? I not getting "free server". Please refere the System.Net namespace classes .
