Hey,
I'm not new to python but I wouldn't say I'm use to python either, I am very limited to what I can do, but I was wondering if anyone could give me some ideas for some simple programs that will teach me usefull things to learn.

Thank you very much

If you look at this forum, there is a permanent thread called "Projects for the Beginner". See here.
It has a huge amount of projects/ideas in it, so you can start looking through it for stuff to do.

python.org would be good starting point.

If you are filthy rich, you can buy "Programming in Python3" by Mark Summerfield. That book has plenty of exercises at the end of each chapter.

The book promisses to have "extensive downloadable example code" on the back page, so far I have not found it!!!!
