With mousewheel fix your mouse wheel start working in VB6 IDE, (when you do programmig), but when you run the programme wheel doesn't work in DataLit.

Did you have a look at the sample code that came with the scroll add on?
What code are you using to implement the scrolling?

Hi I saw the module, but did'nt understand how to use that module for dataList. I don't know how to modify that code for dataList. Please help
AndreRet 526 Senior Poster
Please post the module here so I can have a look at it to post some code you can use.

Have you follow the methods as MS suggested?
Method 1
Download the VB6 Mouse Wheel.exe file that includes the add-in DLL and the code that is used to create the add-in DLL.
Download the VB6 Mouse Wheel.exe file. The following file is available for download from the Microsoft Download Center:
Download the VB6MouseWheel.EXE package now.For more information about how to download Microsoft support files, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
119591 How to obtain Microsoft support files from online services
Microsoft scanned this file for viruses. Microsoft used the most current virus-detection software that was available on the date that the file was posted. The file is stored on security-enhanced servers that help prevent any unauthorized changes to the file.
Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 <path>\VB6IDEMouseWheelAddin.dll, and then click OK.
Start Visual Basic 6.0.
Click Add-Ins, and then click Add-in Manager.
In the Add-in Manager list, click MouseWheel Fix.
Click to select the Loaded/Unloaded check box, and then click to select the Load on Startup check box.
Click OK.
This method makes the mousewheel scroll event available if you have loaded it correctly. To try this, add a combo box to your application and add at least 50 items to it. When in run mode, click on the combo box, and then use the mouse wheel to scroll down.
Another way, add a text box and add multi lines to it with horizontal scroll bars. Run and now scroll on the text box, Viola, it scrolls.:)
This should now be your solution. Let me know if you could get this sorted.:)

Dear AndreRet
As per your advice I have marked Report scroll as Solved.
With mouseWheelFix combo box and text box scrolls but DataCombo, DataList, Report doesnot scroll in runtime. Thanks
AndreRet 526 Senior Poster
It is because it does not support mouse functions. The only way would be to interact with them via API calls, which I don't even want to get in here, ITS BIG.;)
You can use the code I supplied above, that should help you get the correct solution. I would personally just use a normal combo box, works as fine as a data combo.
