Is it possible to add mouselistener to particular cell of a Jtable??

Yes, it is possible, google some example , i saw alot example when i was learning jtable... You can modify jtable according to your requirement.

for why reason(s) on this world you needed something as MouseListener in TableCell

please check tutorial and to try examples for JTable, then ask queston with posting concrete code
