Note that transient() is not a built-in method of Python. Which module are you importing?

One who stays for only a short time is transient()

so if you want any frame to stay for shorter period you can use this function

Sorry, I finally stumbled onto transient() in Tkinter. It is a Tkinter method used to associate a child window with a parent window.
